General Elections
Munson Township is a mail ballot precinct; there is no voting at the Township Hall for general elections. Registered voters should receive your ballot in the mail the first week in October of an election year. You can register to vote by visiting the State of Minnesota Secretary of State website.
You may vote at the Stearns County Courthouse. Visit the Stearns County Elections website for more detail.
Township Officer Elections
Township officers are elected at the annual Township Meeting in March of each year. If you are interested in serving on the Town Board or as Town Clerk or Treasurer, you can file as a candidate by contacting the Munson Township Clerk. The candidate filing period occurs the last Wednesday of December through the second Wednesday of January (e.g. 12/31/25 – 1/14/2026). A $2.00 filing fee will be collected at time of filing.
